Make or open a password-protected zip STRONGBOX
Put files into a zip locked with AES-256, as WinZip and 7-Zip write it, or open a password-protected zip and save what is inside.
Make a locked zip
Add files or a folder, choose a passphrase, and the zip is written on this device.
Open a locked zip
Drop the zip, type its passphrase, and save one file or all of them.
How it works
STRONGBOX makes a zip locked with AES-256, written the way WinZip and 7-Zip write it, so the person you send it to can open it with the tools they already have. It also opens a password-protected zip and saves what is inside. The older ZipCrypto lock is weak, and a long passphrase matters more than anything else. Forget the passphrase and the files are gone.

Doing this often? The OBSCURA Sovereign Suite seals files so that only the person with the passphrase opens them, with stronger encryption than a zip. On its own, US$4 a month; with everything else, US$9 a month or US$79 a year. 7 days free.
