Ask a public STUN server for this browser's outside address, so the two browsers can find each other across the internet. That server (Google's) learns this machine's public address and that it wanted a connection now, and nothing else. Untick it on a shared network and nothing outside the two browsers is contacted.

How it works

VAULT sends a file straight from your browser to someone else's, over a direct WebRTC connection, without uploading it to a service. Both people need the page open at the same time. It is a private way to send a large file.
